Her Story
From the ER to Your Door
Lauren's journey began at the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. From there, she went straight into the fast-paced world of emergency medicine — first at St. David's North Austin Medical Center, then at Baylor Scott & White Health, where she continues to work today.
In the emergency department, Lauren mastered IV access, fluid resuscitation, and the kind of calm clinical judgment that only comes from working under real pressure. She has placed more IVs than most practitioners will in an entire career.
A pivotal chapter came when she took her skills to Sydney, Australia, working as an infusion nurse at Utopiya Lounge — a premier wellness clinic specialising in micronutrient infusions. It was there she saw, first-hand, the profound effect IV therapy can have on energy, skin, immunity, and recovery.
